What services does your Vancouver video production company offer?

UpMedia is a Vancouver video production company covering live-action, animation, and AI video under one roof. Some projects arrive as a half-day interview shoot. Others run several days with a full crew, a director, and a post schedule. The seven services below are what we build those projects out of.

1. Branding & Promotional Video Production: Most promotional video fails for the same reason: it opens by talking about the product. We work the other way around. Before scripting, we figure out what a company is genuinely good at and why anyone outside the building should care, then shape a promo video around that answer. Sales still gets its message. The audience just gets a reason to stay for it.
2. Corporate Videography: Corporate video has a reputation for sounding like nobody wrote it. We fix that at the script stage, then shoot it properly. Recruitment films, executive messaging, company profiles, training libraries, culture pieces, conference and event coverage: we produce all of it for organizations throughout Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, and we do it without the stock-footage-and-piano-music default.
3. AI Video Production: AI video is now part of how we produce, not a novelty we bolt on. It earns its place in concept boards, stylized sequences, environments that would require a location scout and a permit, and camera moves that no rig can physically perform. We composite those elements against real footage and grade the whole thing together, which is why our AI work looks authored rather than prompted.
4. Commercial Film Production: A commercial lives or dies on the idea, so that is where our process starts. From there our team handles creative direction, casting, location, crew, and the full post pipeline through colour, sound, and delivery. Product launches, campaign spots, brand films: the technical decisions get made in service of the concept, never as a substitute for one.
5. 2D Animation & Explainer Videos: There is no camera setup that can film an abstraction. A software workflow, an insurance policy, a manufacturing process, all of it becomes clearer drawn than shot. Our 2D explainer videos are illustrated to a client’s brand and produced entirely in-house, script through storyboard, design, animation, voiceover, and final mix.
6. 3D Animation & Explainer Videos: When a product’s value is hidden inside it, 3D animation opens it up. We model components, machinery, buildings, and medical devices in full dimension, then move through cutaways and exploded views that show exactly how something functions. Engineering, manufacturing, architecture, and technical product marketing rely on it because the animation has to be accurate before it is attractive.
7. Aerial Videography & Photography: Certified drone pilots on our team fly commercial aerial video and stills across BC. Height changes what a viewer understands about a property: how a building sits on its lot, what the surrounding neighbourhood looks like, how far the site is from the water. We use it constantly for real estate, new construction, tourism, and large-scale venue work, and it integrates into any video or photo package we quote.
